2024 Jeffries Cross Baptist Church Community Health Fair
SHARE member Deirdre Lea partnered with her church again in 2024 to lead a health fair with the support of SHARE. Flu vaccines, blood pressure screenings, and blood donations were administered to over 57 attendees. Attendees received information about Covid-19 and flu vaccines, health maintenance, nutrition, mental health, community resources, and more.

Angelic Warrior Foundation 5k
SHARE is a proud sponsor of the AWF 5k. AWF CEO, and SHARE member, Paulette Duggins is leading the way in increasing awareness about colorectal cancer, especially in younger and Black communities. The AWF 5k raises funds to support patients and families impacted by colorectal cancer.
2023 Jeffries Cross Baptist Church Community Health Fair
SHARE member Deirdre Lea partnered with her church and led a health fair with the support of SHARE. There were over 59 attendees, with over 20 blood donations, about 20 flu vaccines administered, and over 20 blood pressure screenings completed. Attendees received information about Covid-19 and flu vaccines, physical activity, healthy diet, cancer prevention and screening, mindfulness, substance use, pediatric dental information, insurance coverage, and mental health.
